十年地區實踐 四年議員經驗

家超由香港大學畢業後就從事地區服務，期間兼讀公共行政及管理碩士，一心希望服務社會，希望出一分力改善社區，為有需要的人士提供援助。眨眼間，家超已從事地區服務十年，期間擔任區議員四年。四年實踐經驗讓家超明白，地區服務永無止境，我們必須與社區同進步。家超決定參加新一屆區議會選舉，期望得到您的支持。

香港經歷了2019年的動盪，家超和所有香港人一樣，深深體會到太平境況得來不易，社會需要大家齊心團結，摒除政見為民生，為更好的生活環境而努力。香港大學是孕育我服務社區的搖籃，中西區是栽培我成長的基地，家超能服務中西區，與有榮焉，願意承擔責任。家超由西區未有港鐵服務開始，見證西區無比的生命力。若家超成功當選，必定將這份生命力延續下去，優化西區環境，提升居民生活質素，讓西區適應改變，同時保留原有的特點。家超懇請您於12月10日的區議會選舉，支持新民黨，投吳家超一票！

I am David Ng Ka-chiu! I have been serving the community since graduating from the University of Hong Kong during which I also pursued a Master of Arts in Public Policy and Management. hope to serve society, contribute to the betterment of our community and provide assistance to people in need. In the blink of an eye, I have been serving the community for a decade, together with four years of experience as a District Councillor. Through these four years of practical experience, I understand that community service is never-ending, so we must progress together with the community. I have decided to stand for this year's District Council Election, and I call on all of you for your support and trust!

Hong Kong has been facing a period of turmoil in 2019. Like all Hong Kong people, I deeply understand that peace and stability do not come easily. Social unity and collective efforts are required to address other issues such as livelihood and future prospects, and takes no account of political views.

The University of Hong Kong is the cradle for my determination to serve the community. Central and Western District is a strong foundation in nurturing my growth. It is an honour and pleasure for me to serve the Central and Western District, and I am willing to take up the responsi-bility. I have witnessed the remarkable vitality of the Western District since the time when the Western District lacked MTR service. I am committed to continuing the vitality of the Western District, enhancing the environment and improving our quality of life. This allows the Western District to adapt to changes while preserving its unique characteristics.

活化蚊型公園
西區有不少小型休憩用地，用地分散而且細小，大部分只設有座椅，未能真正善用土地及符合街坊需要。家超建議根據土地的位置及鄰近環境，重新設計各用地的設施，吸引不同年齡人士使用，提升居民生活質素，並為社區帶來活力。
創造長者友善社區
香港人口老齡化，家超要求增加長者友善設施及配套，例如資助長者住所內的廁所及淋浴間安裝扶手、公共位置加設座椅、優化無障礙通道設施等等，令中西區成為長者友善社區。
加強樓宇安全及管理
西區有不少樓齡超過三十年的樓宇，部分外牆失修。家超要求政府採用新技術，全面檢查西區全部樓宇，加快執法程序，加強支援業主，主動協助處理維修事宜，並為業主提供更多資助進行樓宇安全檢查。政府亦應設跨部門小組，應居民要求，協助處理招標、管理事宜。
提倡社區人寵共融
家超要求康文署開放更多休憩用地准許寵物進入，行人路加設狗糞箱及狗廁所等等，同時加強處理寵物便溺的教育，令寵物、飼養者及非飼養者和諧相處。
完善行人道路配套
西區行人路面狹窄，部分位置只容許單人通過，輪椅人士更無法通過，家超要求政府各部門研究拓寬行人路、重置路牌柱、欄杆及渠蓋等等，並研究部分行人路加設上蓋，打造便利長者生活的社區。
連接堅尼地城海濱及中山公園
海灣長廊是西區居民主要休憩用地，家超要求搬遷西區公眾貨物裝卸區，以連接卑路乍灣海濱長廊至中山紀念公園，並增加居民休憩活動及親水空間，提高生活質素。
改善電車噪音問題
要求政府資助研究新科技減少電車噪音。
建議港鐵站加強便民設施
建議港鐵堅尼地城站、西營盤站和香港大學站的行人走道加設摺凳，惠及長者及行動不便人士。
改善巴士、小巴候車設施
改善巴士、小巴候車設施，按地理情況加設座椅及上蓋。
加強過海巴士服務
要求加強過海隧道巴士904號及971號服務，加密班次及增設特快線。

Revitalise Small Scale Parks
Re-design facilities to fulfill the needs of nearby residents based on the location of lands and the surrounding environment.
Build an Age-friendly Community
Advocate for installation of handrails in toilets for the elderly, additional seats in public spaces, and improvement of barrier-free access facilities.
Strengthen Building Safety and Management
Government should adopt new technologies for safety inspections, expedite law enforcement procedures, and enhance support for property owners on building management and maintenance issues.
Advocate for Inclusive Culture among Individuals and Pets
Provide more open spaces for pets, install more dog excreta collection bins and dog latrine along pavements, and strengthen education on cleaning up.
Enhance Ancillary Facilities for Pavements
Request to widen pavements; relocate street signs and construct shelters on walkway; create a community that facilitates elderly.
Connect Belcher Bay Promenade with Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park
Request relocation of the Western District Public Cargo Working Area and Wholesale Food Market so as to provide more recreation and leisure facilities for citizens.
Enhance Shopping Experience in The Westwood
Collaborate with owner and management team of the mall to bring in greater varierty of stores and shops for boosting the vitality of the Western District and its economy.
Strike a Balance between Community Economic Development and Tourism
Suggest reviewing the planning of tourist attractions to reduce noise and overcrowding; identify suitable location for of tourism-related business so as to minimise the impact on people’s livelihoods.
Mitigate Noise Nuisances Caused by Trams
Request funding from the Government to conduct research on new technologies so as to address the noise problem.
Enhance Amenities at MTR Stations
Suggest adding foldable stools inside MTR stations to benefit elderly and disabled.
Improve Facilities at the Waiting Areas of Bus and Mini-bus Stops
Install seats and shelters based in suitable locations.
Strengthen Cross-harbour Bus Services
Improve cross-harbour bus services for routes 904, 971 by increasing their frequency and introducing express routes.
